My first event with the mk60 this weekend. Also brand new Vitour P1’s. The mk60 feels very smooth in comparison to the old oem ABS. I was easily able to use the brakes to help rotate the rear of the car around. The P1’s also ran great. Quick warmup. Similar feel to re71rs I think.

Today I put in new axles on both sides. This should fix the grease explosion I had in RR. Still a lot of grease on the suspension that I had to clean off. While I was in there, new diff seals as well. It’s a surprisingly easy job aside from just taking the suspension apart….

Day 1 of wiring First Up Red Band – Needs to be connected to 12v power through a fuse. Recommend a 30A fuse. Some users have gotten away with a 20A fuse, but OEM was 30A so that’s what I use. Orange Band – Same as the red banded wire. Needs its own 20-30A fuse….
First real autocross with the new cam today. Car feels really good and I wasn’t hitting any rev limits on course. Not a great performance on my part however. I only managed a single clean run the whole day. Enough for 3rd in my class, but still have the season points lead.
Nice day out at Blackhawk Farms. I put my old bridge back in so I was running exactly how the car was tuned. Blackhawk is a pretty brutal track for brakes and brakes are really holding me back right now. I think my ER1 pads were getting some pad fade. I think it’s time to…
