Rebuild continues: crank polished, rods resized, new 2 piece oil pan with baffles

The rebuild continues.

Engine is off at the shop getting the crank polished, cleaned, honed, and rods resized for ARP hardware. Should be able to safely run 7k now instead of rolling the dice with the weak 99 rod bolts.

Lots of cleaning. Heads, misc parts. Took the oil pump apart, cleaned and reassembled. No galling inside. Took the opportunity to powerwash the engine bay and subframe to get 27 years of engine goo off of it.

I picked up a 2 piece batwing a while ago and an improved racing baffle kit. I prepped the new pan with a full clean and gaskets.

Next week I think I’ll try and get my accusump mounted and mount my front plate oil cooler.
