Cam install done: SDPC LS6 Power Max Plus
I just finished up my cam install. I put in a SDPC LS6 power max plus cam.
Of course I redid a bunch of new while you’re in there stuff
- 10% underdrive pulley. Should help keep the power steering a little cooler
- New timing set
- trickflow timing damper set
- New cam plate
- New melling high pressure high flow oil pump.
- New tensioners for both the accessories and AC
- New idle pulleys
- New seals everywhere of course
I ordered a set of PRC CNC stage 2.5 LS6 heads, but they haven’t arrived yet. I also have a ls6 intake manifold to go on . I have an appointment to get it dyno tuned on the 4th. If the heads arrive in time I might attempt to throw them on next weekend, but I have events starting back up and I need the car to not be in pieces. Plus I really should get long tubes before paying for a 2nd tune.
